Today we got up and had breakfast at the hotel as usual. A cute moment happened at breakfast when Josh gave Sloan some milk. Her face lit up, she smiled up at him and did a quick nod/bow for thank you. Sloan is very happy when eating and likes to play this hand game with Josh where she puts her little hands on his arm and he opens his hand and she puts her little hand in his big hand and then they keep overlapping hands.
After breakfast, we stopped at the immigration office to get Sloan her passport to get home. Then we visited a park with natural springs. It was the first open green space we had seen. It was very pretty with weeping willows and animals carved into the rock. We saw people with water jugs getting water from the springs. We strolled through the park and viewed little buildings with Chinese architecture and then came across a lake where we saw some boats with Chinese style architecture as well. The air felt cleaner at the park too! It was a very pretty place!
After lunch we decided to join another family to go and visit the dancing fountains. This family from GA had American friends who lived in Jinan and taught English here so they came to meet us at the hotel and we all caught a city bus together. The dancing fountains were set to music and it was very cool! Sloan loved it! She was smiling and pointing a lot and some water even misted on her but she didn't mind.
Later at dinner, we fed Sloan ice cream for dessert. Normally she can feed herself but we didn't want her to get a brain freeze so we fed it to her. After we gave her a bite she would open her mouth like a little birdie and wait for more. We were all chuckling at this. Kale said it was the best ice cream he ever had and Wren won the award for most adventurous eater that night. He ate spicy duck head and liked it! He even took out the eyeball and placed it on Kale's plate of course!

Nice Wren! Very gross! :)
